Buccaneer Cove

Buccaneer Cove, as the name suggests, is a small, sheltered bay once popular with whalers and pirates, who could re-stock fresh water and tortoises there while they repaired their ships. As a visitor site, it’s a large cliff where you can see many birds, including blue-footed boobys and Brown Noddies.

In general, ships don’t land at Buccaneer cove: the visit consists of a panga ride and some snorkeling, which is quite good when the water is clear.
