Playa Ochoa - Beach San Cristobal - Ecuador

Located about 30 minutes by boat from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, Playa Ochoa is a gorgeous public beach with a large sea lion population. It’s one of the places that Charles Darwin visited on his famous 1835 trip to the islands. It’s good for snorkeling, as the surf and currents are not too rough. Cruise ships often stop here, and it’s possible to visit from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. A little ways inland is a brackish lagoon where Flamingos are occasionally seen. Camping is allowed with a permit from the park.
