Arequipa and the Colca Canyon Hotels
The Arequipa and the Colca Canyon region has a wide an array of lodging choices. Arequipa has something for every taste and budget. Many hotels are based in the historical city center, near the main landmarks. Some hostels in Arequipa offer lovely views of the spectacular landscape surrounding the city. If you're looking for help getting around and seeing the city, many hotels in Arequipa offer their own tour service.
Hotels are not so numerous in Cañón del Colca, especially outside of the main villages of Chivay, Yanque and Cabanaconde. Some luxurious inns, complete with hot springs, do open their doors. Many hotels have their own restaurant. Throughout the canyon, though, camping and lodging with families is available for reasonable prices. Hotel choices are even more limited in Cotahuasi Canyon.
