A very large colonial house, the formerly budget Los Balcones was refurbished in 2008 and turned into an upscale hotel with vast, modern, clean rooms and sprawling balconies. While the location is convenient, just a block away from the Plaza de Armas, you may expect early morning street noise. The service is excellent and includes laundry, free transfer to the hotel and medical assistance if necessary. Negotiate a discount if staying more than one night.
