The Hostal Solar has eight traditional rooms decorated in colonial art with modern touches. Many of the rooms have high ceilings and are all built with the volcanic stone sillar. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom (hot water 24-hours a day), cable TV, telephone and thermal quilts. Breakfast is included (taxes not included in price). Other services include cafeteria, laundry, internet, parking, tourist information, ticket/tour reservations, activities and BBQs can be arranged for groups. Complimentary airport pickup also provided.

Hostal Solar in Arequipa
Me and my wife stayed in this colonial house with hi cellings, very friendly supperb decorated sunny rooms incredible hot shower best I had in Peru, stuff helpfull friendly, book anything for you, Good value. ask for Carlos the owner he will take to the best adventures in town.
Good choice
As the name implies this hotel is bright and sunny, with a roofside restaurant that serves breakfast. It has a nice courtyard and is a decent value. It's colonial architecture and white, clean rooms are inviting. The staff is very helpful and professional and may offer discounts in low season if you ask.
