Traveler Reviews of Hostel Casona Solar

Fantastic Hotel

Casona Solar is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in traveling through Latin America. It is a restored 18th century mansion and has both modern conveniences (hot water, modern shower) and historic ambiance. The owners - who are a Dutch/Peruvian couple - have done a really nice job restoring the place. Our room was more of a suite than just a room, and was huge, comfortable, and has 30 foot cathedral style ceilings. Very relaxing, secure, and a place I look forward to going back to.

Precious

Beautiful, confortable, romantic. My husband and I, aprecciated all in that house. We hope return. If you go, ask for Edith, the owner, she is very lovely :)

Good place to stay, great to relax a few days

I realy liked the location. It's in the middle of the center of Arequipa but it looks like a oases. You very close, 3 minutes, walk from the main square. Very good service and breakfast for a good price
