Back in Time

One walks back into time while walking throught the gates of La Casa de Melgar. Decorated with antiques and colonial art, this charming hotel
is an excellent example of 18th century Arequipena architecture with
thick, richly painted walls, arches and a pleasant, airy garden. Once the
home of bishops and poets, La Casa has a romantic, if a tad musty air
about it.
