Samana Wasi - Hotel Arequipa - Peru

Samana Wasi, located in a small, sillar-stone, colonial house, is a special, budget traveler’s hostel. Doña Bárbara and her family provide quiet, comfortable rooms with private baths. (Note: hot water is available only 7 a.m.-10 p.m.) The first-floor rooms are darker; look at several before choosing. Special features are rooftop terrace where you can enjoy breakfast while gazing upon Chachani and Misti, a fully-equipped kitchen for guests’ use and laundry service. Doña Bárbara also offers cooking classes, if you want to learn how to prepare Arequipa’s classic dishes. This is a safe space for women.
