This laidback, rustic restaurant specializes in traditional Peruvian cooking, as prepared by the friendly husband-wife team Marcos and Gloria Verapinto. Diners can enjoy traditional Arequipeño plates, such as grilled guinea pig and peppers stuffed with veggies. Enjoy your meal in the relaxing garden-like dining room beneath the bamboo roof and skylights. The family recipe starters of pastels de papas and soltero de queso are highly recommended. The menu also offers a number of good vegetarian dishes. Every night at 6:30 p.m. the restaurant comes to life with live folkloric music. In the mornings, the restaurant serves an excellent breakfast and a variety of fresh juices. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
