Hostal La Compañia is located in an old republican building in the heart of Arequipa. After undergoing a complete renovation in 2005, the original charm and character of the building remain complimented by modern amenities. Spacious rooms open up to a sunny patio, dining area and lounge. Baltic pine floors and high ceilings are a unique touch at this classic hostal. Rooms are clean, comfortable and bright.

Additional services include laundry, safety deposit boxes, airport transport, internet, 24-hour room service, hot water, and breakfast is included with the price. Spanish classes at competitive rates can also be arranged upon request.

Single/$22, double/$36, triple/$48. Prices include private bathroom, 24-hour hot water, breakfast, cable TV, cleaning service and internet. There is also a special rate of $8 for rooms without cable and shared bathroom.

Charming

Front section is white brick with charming colonial architecture and
artwork. In the back patio is a more modern building with a less charming
ambience. One can negotiate as low as $10/person for a room with private bath, which is a great value. One computer with Internet is available. An apartment and discounts for stays longer than a week are available.

A nice place

I like the rooms and the location. It's safe to go for a stroll and walk around the Plaza and stores.
