This tour bus guide company offers a variety of different tours. However, V!VA definatley recommends the City and Country Full Look. This guide to Arequipa will, for four hours and $12, give you one heck of a ride on a double-decker open air bus. Starting at the Plaza de Armas where English (and French) speaking guides will explain the history and architecture of the White City, before touring the sparkling valleys and historic monuments surrounding Arequipa. Stops include:

• Farms where exotic fruits are harvested.
• Viewing towers that give breathtaking views of the region.
• An 18th century mill still in use.?
  
• The Mansion of the Founder, home of the city’s founder.
• A stop at a local alpaca, vicuña, and llama wool outlet, where kids can pet the animals.

• The two hour Panoramic City Tour ($8.50)
• The four hour City Tour Gastrnomico ($8.50)
• The four hour Monumental Tour to the city´s monuments for $14, with an optional stop at the Santa Catalina Monestary for an additional $10.25

There are great introductions to the city and its history. They should be considered if you are not planning on going into the surrounding region or if you are short on time.
