Traveler Reviews of Pablo Tour

Colca Canyon Tour

I used Pablo Tour for my three-day trip into the Colca Canyon and they were excellent. From the moment I contacted the owner of the company (Edwin) I was impressed. From their very prompt responses to my emails, to their concern for my safety and comfort during and even after the trip, Pablo Tour was accommodating in every way and made my experience an amazing one. Our tour guide, Edison, was great! He did the gruelling treks with us and proceeded to cook us wonderful meals every afternoon and every night. He woke up early in the morning and made us breakfast. On our last night in the Canyon he surprised us with a bottle of wine and ended our tour with class (about as much class as you can get in the Canyon). After our trip he offered to hold onto our luggage while we spent our last few hours in Arequipa so that we wouldn't have to be uncomfortable carrying them around. He spent an extra four hours in the city when he could have gone home just so he could meet with us afterward to pick up our bags. We really could not have asked for a better, nicer guide. As for the Canyon itself...it's breathtaking. The treks are difficult if you are not trained to do a lot of climbing and hiking, but the view you get throughout the journey is well worth the pain.
