V!VA User‘s Description Located in the heart of canyon country, Arequipa is a great place to scout around for hiking and trekking tours. Most tour companies located on Jerusalén, Santa Catalina and near Plaza de Armas offer tours of Colca, Cotahuasi, Toro Muerto, and the city tours in Arequipa itself. You can also buy air, train, and bus tickets, and inquire about longer trekking excursions. Prices fluctuate significantly so your best bet is to shop around. In general you get what you pay for, so make sure you know what's included in cheaper tours. Always make sure your company, and its guides are official.
