Spa/Hot Springs

By Paula Newton

After a day spent condor spotting in the canyon, what better way to relax than to visit the hot springs, taking in the beautiful mountainous scenery. Grab a drink and unwind in the different pools of varying temperatures, or check out the steam room. Heat varies from warm to downright hot and the temperature within the pools also differs depending on where you sit. Note that the pools do not have lockers to secure your belongings, so it is better not to take too much cash with you. The springs can be found on the opposite side of Chivay from the canyon.
