Things to See and Do in Cabanaconde
Aside from Condor viewing at the Cruz del Cóndor, Cabanaconde is a kick off point for many interesting and scenic hikes into the Colca Canyon. Two favorites treks are: to the Sangalle Oasis, which can be done in one day or over a more leisurely two days, including camping at the oasis; and a four-to-six-day hike, starting in Cabanaconde and ending in Andagua.
