Hiking and Trekking Fees - Hiking - Peru

The entrance fees to Parque Nacional Huascarán help with trail maintenance, trash removal, endangered species protection, community-based programs and funding for search and rescue teams. Entry for the day is $1.85, and anyone planning to stay in the park for two or more days must purchase a $25 pass. Entrance fees can be paid at the park’s headquarters in Huaraz, located in the Ministry of Agriculture at the east end of Avenida Raymondi in Huaraz (Monday-Friday 8 a.m-1 p.m, 2.45-5.45 p.m. Tel: 422-024). You can also find ticket booths at Lagunas de Llanganuco, Quebrada Ishinca, Pastoruri Glacier and Musho village en route to Huascarán.
