Hotels in Huaraz are on the whole, decent and reasonably priced, but prices can rise during holidays and festivals. There are many budget hotels, but it is worth shopping around, as some hotels in Huaraz have good views of the Cordillera Blanca. For a relatively small town, there is plenty of choice, reflecting the importance of Huaraz as an outdoor adventure center.
