One of the more chic-looking shops in the Portal Comercio facing the Plaza de Armas, Tesoros del Ande offers high-quality, hand-made silver jewellery. They also sell fancy alpaca scarves, wool caps, shirts and skirts, not to mention hand-made leather handcrafts. There is a choice selection of ceramic and clay pottery and sculpture with many Incan and pre-Incan motifs. They take credit cards, and it is advisable because one would be wise not to carry the cash needed to pay for such items. For your convenience, they also sell maps, books, and other tour guide information.
