This limited facility south of the Plaza de Armas has only ten rooms and four bathrooms. Hospedaje Emanuel does have a bar/cafeteria, hot water, luggage security, fax, mail and laundry service, so for the ten to twelve dollars you pay for a single room (depending on the season) might be an agreeable price to compensate for its being situated in outright ugly location, walking past a locked gate, through a soiled concrete walkway and within a dirty building complex. When we paid a visit there was a low-key smell of cat urine in the lobby.
