On the very short Calle Tigre, in the Plaza de Armas neighborhood, is the Q'ani Wasi "Hospedaje," which translates into lodge, and that is essentially what this place is. You walk past the entrance into a corridor with rooms on both sides. The place is a bit run down but the rooms are clean, and what may matter most to budget travelers, very cheap, with single rooms priced at six dollars, and they do come with hot running water. The proximity to all the attractions of the Plaza de Armas and the surrounding neighborhood is also an advantage. The management also points out that the rooms all come with color televisions --but who manufactures black and white sets these days?
