Intiq Samana is one of the best buys in Cusco, with its attractive, clean, stylish and comfortable rooms belying its mid-range (though cheap by first-world standards) price of $15 for a single room and $25 for a double. Besides the expected storage space, hot water, private bathrooms, safety boxes, breakfast, a clean and spacious common-area kitchen, laundry service and cable TV, this hostel also features free Internet access for its guests. The owner, Richard Flores, has done a great job in not just relying on the natural charm of an old building, but remodeling it so it looks both fresh and traditional.

Great value compared to other accommodation in Cusco (rooms from S/25). Extremely firendly and helpful owner and staff. Only a few blocks from main Plaza de Armas. Guest kitchen.
