Plateros Hostal
Plateros By Rick Segreda

The Plateros Hostal is located on the street of the same name. The hostel offers a few extras such as a salon with a wide-screen television, free Internet access for guests and a cafeteria. Here’s the rub: the rooms are of uneven quality, some are excellent, some are mediocre, and you might resent afterwards paying the same as another guest for a room that was much smaller and of a lower quality. To avoid problems simply request to see the room beforehand. The large, second-floor salon is pleasant if you can tolerate a low-key smell of mildew, which is due to a leaking roof.

Traveler Reviews of Plateros Hostal

great,safe and friendly

This is a very friendly, safe and hoest place to stay. Rooms are not the greatest but the attention from the staff makes up for it. The staff was always willing to help us, we really liked the personal attention given to us. The hotel is also very close to Plaza de Armas and the nightlife in Cuzco, all the restaurants are at your door step. I would highly recommended it to any one on a budget.
