Based in Cusco, Peru Treks and Adventure is a licensed trek and tour operator offering a variety of packages for different budgets. It guides not only the classic, four-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu, but also one-day tours of Cusco city or the Sacred Valley; white rafting and mountain biking excursions; and treks to other parts of the Sacred Valley region. All packages may be done on a group or private basis.
Peru Treks and Adventures prides itself on being an agency that practices socially and environmentally responsible tourism. It pays particular attention to the wages and work conditions of its cooks, porters and other staff, yet while providing competitive prices and quality service. This tour operator also supports a number of education projects in small villages. In 2006 Peru Treks and Adventures was awarded Best Cusco Travel Agency by the Ministry of Tourism.
