Hospedaje Inka

This inn is located at the very summit of Suytucato on the path leading north from San Blas. Owner Américo Pacheco will welcome you into his rustic Hospedaje Inka, a former ranch home now serving as a backpacker palace, complete with an outdoor grill and, spare wooden floors (as well as private bathrooms). Américo is proud of what he calls his “orthopedic” beds and his breakfast featuring real cusqueño chocolate and barley bread. Take a deep breath of the fresh, mountain air and enjoy the spectacular views of Cusco and the mountain ranges surrounding it. This is one of the few hostels that offers parking and is a good way to sample both Cusco’s urban and rural charms.

Traveler Reviews of Hospedaje Inka

We loved it!

We have been to Cusco twice. Both times we stayed at the Hospedaje Inka. This place is just nice, simple and not complicated at all. We have been to very expensive places, but we loved it here. Both times we were there they took care of our luggage while we went to Aguas Calientes. Two days later, we came back and picked up our stuff, no hassle, no problem. This was a wonderful experience for us. We are planning on going again in 2009 and guess where we are going to stay at?

Nice

It had a really nice and rustic atmosphere. There was a fire in the evening, a big garden, breakfast until afternoon, personal, communicative and quiet. Ideal for relaxing! Nice view over the town and 10 minutes to Plaza des Armas.

Great !!!

Yep, I'm very happy I've climbed up there, because of Yuri's smiles, his jokes ;-), the stupendous view, the people I've met and the Choquequiraw walk I did with Alan (Yuri's brother). Everything made my stay in Cusco unforgettably great!!!!

Hospedaje Inka

We really enjoyed Americo's hospitality, he Julio, Alan and Yuri's friendliness made it a great place to stay at. We still think of them fondly, and plan to stay there again!

unconventional hostel

The place is very unusual. You have to climb to get there, a good warm up before the Inka Trail, and it has a great view of Cusco. There is lots of open space, have a BBQ or just set the fire and gather around. Very friendly, there's an almost familiar atmosphere!
