Around the corner from the Plazoleta San Blas, Hospedaje Sambleño offers a cheap price--single rooms at $6--in a great location. It will also serve up breakfast for a little extra at its own in-house Niña Niña restaurant; you might pass this up. The rooms are spare and even a bit stale, with bare wooden floors. When we visited it, the receptionist was smoking a cigarette behind his desk in the lobby, an indication of what you can expect here. If none of this is an issue for you, and you are on a tight budget, you might not mind. Otherwise, as the Romans used to say, caveat emptor.
