This hostel is managed by the Mendivil family, whose religious and indigenous-themed folk art has gained recognition beyond Peru. For their $15 to $20 price range, they offer a great location and good rooms designed with an artistic flair commensurate with the talent that made their art famous. There is also an attractive bar and cafeteria on the first floor. The owner, Francisco Mendivil, can personally showcase his art for you.
