Mandela's Bar is a fantastic bar/restaurant hidden behind the Cathedral, serving a mixture of Peruvian, contemporary and South African food (spicy chicken, etc.)and a full bar (juices and cocktails).. The best views in Cuzco at night by far, over the main Plaza and beyond. Regular live music on weekends and weeknights (local tribal groups, jazz, rock and blues) from 10 p.m. The atmosphere is homey with candle lighting in the main area, sofas in the lounge area and a chill-out section with cushions. Average costs: $3+ for a main course.

Price Description: Prices include tax but not tips. regular parties here (funk and soul, house music). a great mixture of local cusqueños and tourists alike frequent this place. good selection of cds as well.

Yummy and great staff

An out of the way restaurant, though close to the centre. And yes, it does have the most amazing views from its balcony! The staff are all very firendly and very helpful (I'm particulary thinking about their quick help when someone in our party fainted!) Food is great, especially snacks and sandwich type things, I'm sure the rest of the menu is good too.
