Granja Heidi Restaurant

Owner Karl Heinz-Horner grew up in Germany but proudly considers himself Peruvian, having settled here and started his own dairy farm, where he sells his own milk, yogurt and cheese. He is also the proprietor of Granja Heidi, one of the best restaurants in Cusco, midway between the Plaza de Armas and Cuesta San Blas. Karl’s level of consideration for his customers extends to providing menus in up to six languages, including Japanese, with an expertly prepared variety of Peruvian and Central European dishes, along with a good wine list. And of course, don’t forget to try the deserts, made with fresh milk and cheese from Karl’s dairy

Traveler Reviews of Granja Heidi Restaurant

The best in cusco

I loved almost everything about this place.  Most importantly the food and cost.  Fresh dairy products?  A rare treat while traveling in Cusco and the Sacred Valley.  The quality, taste and value of the food is unsurpassed.  Not to mention variety.  The elegance of the food is refreshing.  I love that the portion sizes were not so big that you had to leave the half to waste.

Some people thought Karl was "rude", but those of us with dry humor couldn't stop laughing at his humor.

My only complaint is they aren't open on Sunday.
