While the owners call it a coffee shop, Kachivache is much more. This restaurant has a clean, artistically rustic atmosphere—with local art on the walls— and is perfect for a break from the city. Chefs at Kachivache use fresh seasoning and spices to create bold, rich, flavorful entrées. Mediterranean overtones dominate the eclectic menu which includes a variety of international dishes. Especially tasty are the kabobs plates with a choice of marinated chicken, beef or seafood and fresh grilled vegetables. The Spanish omelet is another excellent option, as are the assortment of gourmet sandwiches, which are a deal at only $1.25 each. If you are in search of a good cup of joe, there is a reason Kachivache is called a coffee shop, it has some of the strongest, boldest beans in town and will satisfy almost any craving. It is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. - 11 p.m. but sometimes they do close randomly.
