Hostal Varayoc - Hostel Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) - Peru

Just a stone's throw from the train station and buses to Machu Picchu, the Varayoc has a prime location. Blink and you'll miss it-it can be found right above the internet cafe. This place is simple and lacks any real character, but its prices are low for Aguas Calientes. There is 24-hr hot water, much appreciated after a long hike. It is a bit noisy early evening, but soon quietens down as everyone gets to bed early, ready to hit Machu Picchu. Breakfast is included.
