Machu Picchu doesn’t offer much in the way of memorable meals. In fact, there’s only two restaurants near the ancient city, both in same hotel. The rest are down the slope in Aguas Calientes, the village at the foot of Machu Picchu’s peak. Even there, much of the food is typical cheap traveler´s fare-think pizza. Still, it’s not as if people flock to Machu Picchu for the great meals.
