Machu Picchu is the main attraction in the area, but many visitors, while they are here, stop over and visit the Mandor gardens and waterfalls. Your options for accessing it are: 1) take a cab; 2) walk for two-hours; or 3) take the train that leaves at 12:30 p.m. Entrance to the gardens comes to $1.20, and there are places to eat while you are there. In addition to the waterfall, there is much exotic flora and fauna, including rare birds.
