Imperio de los Incas av 114
Aguas Calientes, Peru

Hostel

By Paula Newton

Just a stone's throw from the train station and buses to Machu Picchu, the Varayoc has a prime location. Blink and you'll miss it - it can be found right above the internet cafe. This place is simple and lacks any real character, but is good nonetheless. There is 24-hr hot water, much appreciated after a long hike. It is a bit noisy early evening, but soon quietens down as everyone gets to bed early, ready to hit Machu Picchu before the crowds.

Traveler Reviews of

Clean / Bad Luck

Rating: 75%

This place was clean and pleasant enough. I did notice a small-ish cockroach in my room, however, the place was very clean, so I think it was just bad luck, and none of my companions had any in their rooms.
