Sumaq Macchu Picchu Hotel is an exclusive luxury hotel at the base of Macchu Picchu. This four-star hotel blends in well with its location: everything from the architecture to the cuisine borrow from Andean influences. The exterior design aims to blend with the landscape, while interior decorations reflect Inca culture and Peruvian craftsmanship.
The resort has 60 ample and luxurious rooms, equipped with alarms, wi-fi, mini-bar, mp3 radios, and cable TV.
The Qunuq Restaurant and Suquy Café-Bar, serves exquisite and varied samples of gourmet, novo-Andean, regional and international gastronomy. Menus are elaborated by well-recognized Peruvian Chef Rafael Piqueras. After trekking to Macchu Picchu guests can relax in the "Natural Spa Axlla" which employs ancient Inca therapeutic techniques, including saunas, thermal baths, reflexology and massages that use essential oils and local herbs to heal your weary soles.
