Aiko Restaurant

Location:
Imperio de los Incas 153
Aguas Calientes, Peru

Restaurant

By Ricardo Segreda

One of several restaurants alongside the railroad tracks on Imperios de los Incas, the advantages of this eatery are: 1) its attractive location; 2) its small seating capacity--36--ensuring relatively quick service; and 3) its low prices, particularly in Aguas Calientes. The selection offered is fairly standard: varieties of spaghetti, roasted chicken, steak and potatoes and trout, along with the expected fruit juices and alcoholic beverages, but the restaurant has a pleasant look, and the cooking is more than competent.
