They call themselves a "tourist restaurant" and offer international and Peruvian cuisine, American and continental breakfast, beef, trout and chicken dishes, pizzas, pastas and Mexican food. Dinner and lunch items go for about $9 and along with the free garlic, there is a free glass of wine, pisco sour or sangria. El Tunqui also sells paintings, folk art and jewelery. This is a serviceable restaurant, good for those who are hungry and want something that is mid-range in both price and quality.
