As a restaurant, Indi Feliz has acquired a reputation--not just in Aguas Calientes, but in all of Peru--that is nothing less than legendary. In ten years they have won eight prizes, including, in two consecutive years, top honors in a national contest as Peruvian Business of the Year. It is the restaurant of choice for dignitaries and celebrities on their way to Machu Picchu. What is all the buzz about? It might be its unique mix of French and native cuisine, courtesy of its French chef, Patrick Vogin, and his Peruvian wife, Cannie Pacheco. Ginger chicken with Caribbean mustard and rum sauce or garlic sauce trout are among the many creative selections offered up for a surprisingly affordable $12. Great coffees, great drinks and great desserts complement the friendly atmosphere and overall good time you will have there.

The food was great, the service a little sullen to begin with, but warmed up a lot during the course of the meal. The food was really very good indeed.

Every one agrees, The food is excellent.
Listen to this one, upon arrival at the restaurant, our 12 year old had some stomach issues. In our conversations with the chef, he said, no problem, I will cook something special and wholesome for your son. 45 minutes later, he came back with a wonderful chicken soup, especially prepared for our kid. It did not only tasted great, it also stayed in Brandon's stomach.
