This minor hostel offers inexpensive but pleasant rooms that start at $10 for an individual, $20 for two. All rooms come with bathrooms and hot running water. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean, comfortable and attractive for this price range, with colorful and heavy wool blankets for warmth once night falls. The owners, Félix Calla and María Palomino, will also fix you breakfast for an additional two-and-half to three dollars. They are also proprietors of a folk art and wool product shop that is part of the business. As with so many old frontier buildings now serving as hostels, even though ceilings in individual rooms are high, hallways and entrances are low, so the vertically advantaged should be careful.
