Hostel

By Ricardo Segreda

Hospedaje El Artesano is probably the most minimal of hostels in Pisac. You have to walk through a soiled corridor with exposed wiring coming out the walls to access the reception. It has only five rooms, none of them with private bathrooms. They all go for about six dollars. The rooms themselves are fresh and clean, and the bathrooms do have hot water. Apart from that there are no other amenities, though laundry and such is easily available elsewhere. The hostel has neither a phone nor an e-mail address. If you are thinking of your stay strictly in terms of just crashing for a night, and nothing better at a similar price is available, this is at least serviceable, and the staff is friendly.
