In the town of Urubamba, Mach'a Wasi is a convenient and comfortable place for visitors to stay while exploring the natural, historic and cultural wonders of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At an altitude of 2875 meters a.s.l., it is easier for visitors to acclimatize to higher altitudes in the Andes. If you are looking for a place where you will encounter less tourists, then come to Urubamba. It has a train service to Machu Picchu, and from the local bus station you can travel to many destinations. The owner places a strong emphasis on running the business in harmony with Mother Nature as much as possible and encouraging the guests to do likewise. Mach'a Wasi is a totally non-smoking environment. Drunken behaviour is not tolerated either.

The accommodation can house 13 people in five rooms featuring comfortable mattresses. Three of the rooms have their own shower, with another shower and a bath available for the remaining rooms. Hot showers are available at any time. Three rooms have a double bed; one of those rooms also contain two single beds, making it suitable for a small family. The other two rooms have three and two single beds respectively. Besides accommodation, the services of the hostel also include mountain rental bike tours using quality Trek and GT mountain bikes.
