For the best accommodation in town, check into the charming Albergue Las Cabañas. Inside you'll be welcomed by the sight of high adobe walls looming over a beautiful garden of yellow retama and queña flowers. The bungalows consist of immaculately polished wood floors, stone hearths, and new bathrooms. Members of Hostelling International only pay $7 per person for lodging.

Good place to sleep
75%Place very quiet (hard to find in Peru!). Friendly. Good food. They can pick you up in Puno or there are some "combi" or vans that are very cheap. A good place that I recommend.
