If in Juliaca you feel your diet is challenged by a massive carbohydrate craving, you can resist it or you can visit Meli Melo, which for the cost of a few soles you can avail yourself to a large helping of freshly prepared chocolate mousse or cheesecake, not to mention a panoply of pies, puddings, and cakes, the latter in multiple layers with multiple fillings.
