Of the places to stay in Puno, Hostal Los Pinos is one of the best budget options. This family run hostal has spacious, light-filled rooms with new private baths and electric hot water showers. Those seeking to save a few pennies can request rooms with a shared bathroom. Other amenities include breakfast, luggage stores, and laundry facilities. The staff is extremely helpful and cheap tours can be arranged.

Horrible!
0%I made a reservation a week before arrival. Once we got there, there was no proof of such reservation. They treated us extremely poorly, constantly having to fight with the employment in order to not get ripped off. When we were finally leaving, they tried to charge us for an extra night that we never stayed. Avoid this place!
