Titicaca Expedition

Location
Puno, Peru

Tour Operator

By Ricardo Segreda

Titicaca Expedition claims to offer the best team and best service for making the most of your visit to South America’s largest lake and the overall highest in the world. It does charge double what the other boat operators will charge to take you to the Uros islets or to Taquile Island, six dollars rather than three, but owner Sesbastian Grundy asserts that unlike the other operators, he will pick you up right at your hotel, and his boats come with actual, informative guides. All things considered, the rates to such landmark geographical and cultural points such as Sillustani and Amantani are inexpensive, and the range of Titicaca Expedition’s services include two and three-day excursions, including camping trips.
