El Ekeko Café Bar

Not quite as wild as other popular joints in Barranco, this artsy locale boasts two levels with live music Wednesday through Saturday. Most acts tend to be Latin, including Cuban, tango, musica folklorica and cha-cha-chas. There are free poetry readings on Monday evenings and El Ekeko also offers a range of hors d’oeuvres. Open Monday – Wednesday 10 a.m.– midnight and Thursday – Saturday 10 a.m.-3 a.m. Cover charges range from $2.85 - $5.70.
