Casa de la GastronomÃa Peruana is a good stop to make before beginning your Peruvian culinary explorations. Located in one part of the hot-pink Correo Central, this museum takes you on a trip through the country’s many regional specialties, from the coast to the jungle. All manners of food preparations are also discussed, as well as food trends from pre-Columbian times to the present.
