This handsome bookshop in the historical center, near the municipal building, has a larger and more cosmopolitan selection than most in Lima. It is one of the few that stocks both foreign language books and magazines. El Virrey also offers a variety of useful maps and guides. It is open every day, early to late, and takes all credit cards.
