Most visitors to the historical center of Lima will be pleased to take advantage of Lima’s Tourism Municipal Information Office, located on the Plaza de Armas and in between some of the best restaurants in the area. With a concierge who can communicate in English as well as Spanish, this is one of the best first places to go before you start taking advantage of Lima's urban and coastal niceties. The office provides any number of brochures, maps and references about where to go and what to see--not only in Lima, but throughout Peru.
