Fernando and Nelly opened Hostal Iquique in 1991 and take pride in being a positive part of travelers' experiences. The hostel is known to be clean and friendly, but a little drafty. There is warm water, a shared kitchen and storage facilities. Only some of the rooms on the ground floor have common bath; all other accommodations come with private bathrooms. The enclosed, roof top terrace is the perfect place to chill after a day of sightseeing. This space has a fussball table, billiards, internet and book exchange.
