El Estadio Fútbol Club

"Our motto is good food, good times and soccer," claims El Estadio Fútbol Club . And, with a large stained-glass soccer ball in the window and life-size models of some of Latin America's most famous soccer players sitting at the tables, what else could you expect? This sports-pub-to-end-all-sports-pubs is a Latino Bubba's dream, with a native menu that includes milanesa de pollo a la pobre (fried breaded chicken), French fries, fried banana, fried egg, white rice and salad- a "very light" offering we are assured. At three-stories high El Estadio Fútbol Club can accommodate up to 300 people, which makes it an ideal location for groups.

Buffet Time

Most people do not know that there is a buffet at noon, all you can eat. The spread consists of different Peruvian dishes (ceviche, aji de gallina, carapulca, cau-cau, causa, frijoles... ). All the dishes I tried were very good. I started with small portions and went for seconds. Also, there are different desserts, which are included in the price of the buffet. However, you had to take your dessert the moment they were put out, otherwise you did not get any. My family enjoyed eating. It was a little noisy, but fun. I would highly recommend it. Important: You must arrive promptly, because it fills up very quickly. You MUST ask for the buffet, which is served in the basement. Otherwise you will eat in the regular area with a la carte prices. Location is very safe. The management and waiters were nice and friendly. When I go travel to Peru next time, I will go back to this restaurant.
